Streaking

From the moment my RUNNERS WORLD magazine arrived last month, I have been thinking about how to create a newsletter around the interesting topic of STREAKING. For those in your late 50s and above, the words "running and streaking" may draw up a memory of the 1974 Ray Steven's song "They Call Him the Streak." (It was nominated for country music's top single and top album of the year.) Welcome Accountability

The Benefits of Accountability As we have worked with salespeople, leadership teams, owners and frontline employees for over 30 years, one of the greatest signs of growth and commitment in individuals and teams comes when we see people accepting and embracing the importance of personal accountability. If you have worked with JP Horizons in any of those years, you have certainly created plenty of action plans complete with designation of "who" will complete each step of the plan along with "when" it will be completed. We all perform better and are more likely to reach our goals and objectives when we can approach an initiative one step at a time with accountability.

Learning to Keep Score

We need to keep score in or organizations, but we don't want to just measure something for the sake of measuring. We want to have meaningful numbers that create energy to help us to get the results we need. What are areas you can measure that will bring positive energy into your culture?
